| Hello, I'm working on a school project in Nicaragua, and we have lately sighted numerous scorpions of a certain breed in our house. We come from a European country lacking scorpions. My interests towards scorpions (and some other arthropods) have just recently risen here. Anyway, help would be greatly appreciated in identifying this scorpion. I haven't been able to do it yet. | |

| That appears to be Centruroides margaritatus as they are native to Nicaragua.
There's also Centruroides margaritatus morenoi Centruroides margaritatus ''red morph'' Centruroides margaritatus ''yellow morph''
Your scorpion doesn't look like the red or yellow morph or morenoi, so I am going with it being Centruroides margaritatus.
Beautiful scorpion! | |
