Hello everyone.

I'm writting here because I bought 2 scorpions supposed to be "Pandinus cavimanus". But now I have them, I almost totally sure that's not Pandinus but Heterometrus sp. ...

I would like to have confirmation, and help to identify them...

So, I'm supposed to have male and female (I would like to have confirmation too), here some pictures.

I'd say your's looks exactly like mine. Just got my first scorpion the other day, All I know about mine is that it is an Asian Forest Scorpion. so this falls under Heterometrus. Now I'm trying to find out what kind of Heterometrus I have.

check out my post to compare what you have. I'm no expert on scorpions but I think we have the same kind here.

I know it's laborious but if you dig into the posts of the forum you'll be able to identify your scorpions. I bought dictators from a couple different sources a few months back and I was able to confirm that they were Dictators through reading over old posts. Certain parts of the scorpion's anatomy are the key to identification, you just have to learn what it is that sets them apart. Good luck.
