Babies update

Hello everyone, I have been away from this site for almost a year. I just wanted to let everyone know that my babies are doing amazing. They are about 14 months old and out of the 22 scorpions I have counted as many as 15 still alive. I am very happy and I wanted to thank all of you that helped me. I will try and get some pics posted soon. They are getting so big.

On a sad note. out of my 3 adults that I have the 2 males have died. Only the female is left.. sniff sniff....

Anyway thanks again for everyones help. This site is a huge help to everyone starting out in keeping scorpions.

I have also noticed how helpful the people on this site can be. I will soon be trying to breed emperor scorpions. Any tips?

Just out of curiosity, what instar are they at? Because the ones from my brood are 13 months old now and have just molted to 5th instar.

I also have a molting timetable for emperors and so any additional info that backs it up would be great.

Most are 5th... I think I might have a couple still in 4th. I seen a few wandering around that are a bit smaller than the others. It kinda makes me think they might even still be 3rd but I dont think so. Pretty sure the smaller ones are 4th.

With so many that have made it this far its hard to keep track.

Ok cheers. Just to let you know, according to that timetable I've got, 6th instar is due when they are between 16 - 21 months old - So when you next notice yours are molting to 6th instar, drop a post here or on a PM to let me know and I will see if the timetable is again accurate.
