| Hi! well this scorpion was sold to me and they told me it was named Honduras black scorpion....you gotta love common names so I got two of these, anyone can ID it? I think it may be Opisthacanthus asper, or maybe a Liocheles sp. (probably not australasiae). or Iomachus sp. ... darn it lol! they're both around 2'' and plump (gravid???!!) | |

| Mind taking a side shot? Just an angled from the side would do too, looks like a Diplocentrus spp. from what i'm looking at. Also judging from what it was called since I believe there's a few Diplocentrus spp. from Honduras and area. | |

| could it be Opisthacanthus rugiceps? I really don't think it might be any Diplocentrus sp., the tail is proportionally rather slender compared to body side... here are a couple of shots from an independent owner (of O. rugiceps, that is) http://terrarystyka.pl/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=148&topic=60648.0 | |

| Yep +1 on Opisthacanthus rugiceps, couldn't see the tail well enough which is why I asked for the side | |
