| i recently accuired a male emperor to put in with my female and to start with they didnt really care about each other then in the night they starter fighting and she had the male on his back, BUT ever since that fight they have been the best of friends...or lovers, they sleep in the same hide now and the male is always on top of the female??:S any suggestions to what this is and im hoping they will mate soon, thanks jordan | |

| well considering that you letting them stay in the same hide together, it may decrease the fact that they will mate. mine did the same thing but i think ive come to realize that i got a male instead of a female. I have 2 males in 1 hide and i think there gay but who knows. | |

| Im saying if you want to increase there likely hood of mating, if you separate them for a few weeks and then put them together then, that they will more than likely mate right then. cause in nature thats how it works. | |

| Another thing you can do is separate them for like 5 min both out of the tank, block up the hide, re arrange the setup. Then put the female in let her check it out and get comfy for like 5 min. And re introduce the male. That's what a local breeder told me to do. He said it works most of the time.
May check out what the guys on here say against that though. I was told t do that but have not tried because my male still needs to molt. @ anemia youre hilarious. (gay scorps) lmao
Why dont you take one male to a local pet shop and trade for a female? | |
