Among the H. spinifer scorplings that I bred, 3 from Isabelle's brood turned out like this...
I'm thinking its to a recessive pigmentation gene... I strongly doubt albinism, as the eyes don't portray the typical 'pinkish' hue and....
these are definitely not fresh molts as gleam clearly indicates that the exoskeleton has hardened....
This anomaly was already evident during the 2nd and 3rd instar... These guys are at 4i in this pic
Could anyone tell me whats the deal with the color scheme.....
