| What kind of non-scorpion arachnids does everyone here keep? I'll go first!
1x Avicularia avicularia 1x Aphonopelma seemani 1x Brachypelma smithi 1x Citharischius crawshayi 2x Grammostola rosea 1x Haplopelma lividum 1x Lasiodora parahybana 1x Ornithoctonus aureotibialis 1x Pterinochilus lugardi
The only ones I'm sure of their gender is an H lividum and a G rosea which are female.
Who's next? | |

| I have a tiny sling each of B. smithi and G. rosea. Lori bought a bunch of the first from TalkenLate04 and gave me one, and she had a sac of the second and I've laid claim to at least one of them. | |

| oh, oh, oh, I got my first one today!!! yep, yep, I rock like that - I've always been a scorp and herp guy and have always turned away the opportunity to keep spiders and t's. I named it Pookie Bear (that's Garfield's teddy bear's name for those of you who may be scratching your heads).
so anyways....
0.0.1. C. fasciatum
yeah, I hear that they aren't a good beginner. I also hear that raising a sling is not something for the beginner tarantula keeper but just because I'm new to tarantulas doesn't mean I'm not capable or lack the knowledge. | |

| Lori's got two of those and they haven't given her any trouble yet. I'm sure it will be fine.
Sweet T, too. | |

| thats a good looking sling to rear up bro, good choice. I do not think you'll have a problem started off with a sling. When i first started out, i started out with and A. hentzi i caught in Texas, then bout me an A. seemani both were adults , then i bought me am B. smithi sling, then gotten hooked and bought me 12 more sling of different species, i did just fine as a beginner, one of those slings was an C. fasciatum | |

| I like the coloration of the species and have wanted one for a while, when the opportunity to get it for 4 bones arose I couldn't turn it down. I offered it a cricket shortly after it got here (I killed the cricket beforehand of course), it munched on that cricket for a few hours. I'm excited to have one. | |

| Yeah, instead of 5I = fifth instar, there's L5 = larval stage 5. I think it's a European thing. | |
