| I keep hearing these stories of escaped snakes and scorpions, so please to all the advanced keepers, share your best ideas for escape proofing your scorpion enclosures. My current setup can be seen here: https://scorpionforum.darkbb.com/scorpions-in-general-f12/escape-proof-housing-for-small-hots-t3479.htmI have heard of the double-tanking, where you place several small kritter keepers inside a secure glass tank with secure lid. However, I if scorpions escape the KK's can they not just climb up the silicone to get out of the tank???? Any ideas are welcome!!!!!!!! | |

| well double caging usually involves stuff like rubbermaid's etc where there is no silicone and that kritter keeper with mesh under hte lid should work fine, what species do you have anyways. | |

| hmmmmm maybe keep the more dangerous buthids in their kritter keepers and put them in rubbermaids with some ventilation (obviously) and the heat mat on the outside of the rubbermaid, think thats the way to go about it, anyone care to confirm that? lol | |
