| Some of you might still remember L, the lil H.Spinifer scorpling that i have with deformed tail At first glance, we all thought that it will recover in his next molt but no, he is still with his deformed tail after reaching 5th isntar This is him right now, 1year + since birth Close up The infamous deformed tail This is him when he just molted to 2nd instar Cheers | |

| have you seen him sting prey? if he can work that then he is OK but...he survived a year on so clearly eating and if you have to prekill, what does that matter? he is happy and healthy and surviving | |

| so long as it can defecate it shouldn't make any difference whether it can sting or not. It's rare these scorpions use their telson anyway. I have only every seen any of my big scorpions sting about 4-5 times in all the years I have kept them and that was only with locusts. The incredible pressure of the chela are more than enough to kill prey. obviously a happy healthy scorpion or it wouldn't have got this far Nice to see the deformity doesn't seem to have hindered it. | |

| I pre kill the prey everytime i feed him but he have no problem taking live one as well And yes, i'd witness him stinging live prey, no problem, it doesn't bother him much | |

| He can bend those joint, but whenever he strike a thread pose, the tail will turned L shape | |
