| it´s a tropical center in sweden that ask in a swedish forum. Thay have got scorpion that was found by a person at his work. it´s was probably came with a shipping from asia he told her. but was speces is it??? I believe it´s maybe a Heterometrus scaber?? | |

| its an adult due to telson colour, so not a het lonigmanus scorpling. Ive heard they CAN have dark telsons...but also the body isnt the right "shape" and also the size guide...also its more flat.
Probably totally wrong. Looks like Iomachus Politus to me! But im thinking MAYBE Nebo hierichonticus but the colouring isnt correct for the legs (not that colour always gives an ID)MAYBE..Euscorpius italicus. | |

| yeah the tail makes me think its not Iomachus. Ive been looking online but Asia doesnt really pin point it down. | |

| I have asked the girl who has it for more pix and info
a 5 krona is 28mm in diameter...
maybe a Euscorpis, perhaps the cargo was in other country on it´s way...

| proably E.italicus but you cant Id euscorpius from pictures because you will need to get them under a microscope to proably id them.. pictures of the prosoma and if possible the underside of the scorpion whould be a really big help to place it into the right family.. | |

| i agree its definitely not from the scorpionindae family. It's a euroscorpius but these guys can be tough to ID from pics and what i've heard from most people is that the best tool for ID'ing without a specimen to examine is locality information.
