| Well I was planning on getting a few Buthacus Leptochelys, but have decided to go the "safer" route and decided to get either a few Emperors. What are other "beginner" scorpions?
edit: that are communal

| U. mordax are pretty cool, if on the small side. Semi-communal (three adults in a 10-gallon seem to get along). - binksyboy3 wrote:

| Well I have a 30gal. tank to work with, I'm thinking of dividing it into 3 or 4 sections. $ may be pushing it. I think I'm gonna get 2 Pandinus imperator, 2 Pandinus cavimanus, and maybe 2 Babycurus jacksoni. Tips are always welcome | |

| although care for all of them are SIMILAR they need different humidity requirements. Also, P. cavimanus isn't exactly communal. | |

| P. Cavimanus aren't communal? I see pics all the time with at least 4 or more in a tank together. But you guys know a heck of a lot more than me so... I guess my best bet would be to get just the Emps for now? | |

| pandinus cavimanus are riskier to keep together than other pandinus or heterometrus sp. not saying it can't be done, but still.. | |
