| Welp its been 2 weeks today, all seem to have moved off of ma to under her. A few about 2 or 3 stick on her back but I figure its just for the free ride They have all began to turn brown, should I use a blacklight to see if they glow before seperation? Would it be safe to introduce the female back with the male? After feeding both, redoing the aquarium, and new hides? I planned on redoing all the tanks anyways, they need a changin. Is it safe to set up the scorpling in there new home as well? Or should I just leave them be? | |

| You can do whatever you want to with the babies. New home, same home, separate homes, whatever. The glow test is mainly to see if they're hard enough to feed. Reintroducing the adults should be fine as well (especially if you're hoping for another brood ). | |

| Aww man I feel bad now takin them away I shoulda left them with how protective she seemed She wouldnt let go, she was more aggressive then when she was gravid I put them all in there new home I hope they do well they all look great. If I can find the camera wherever me ol lady hid it id post pics of there new home. There was 20 total tho! I could accually only get 19, theres one more on her back that just wont leave and she wont let me get close I held off introducing the adults for now, due to the one baby and how aggressive she was. I hope she doesnt eat the little guy, and I hope he makes it | |

| Gah these lil buggers will be the death of me, I worry to much for them lol Heres what I got setup for them atm. I wanted to add live plants to offer more hides tomorrow. But should I be concerned they all scuttled off in the wrong direction of the UTH? Its on the back side wall. Its not to hot I think they just got startled and scurried in one direction. Im sure they are smart enough to figure out that its warmer on the other side? Heres a pic of their new home Front View Sky View (Now that I look at the pictures I gotta clean the tank lol | |

| you need lower down hides for the babies to feel secure under them, untill they get a burrow going | |

this is true of my het too. He doesn't go under the large dome wood piece but rather the low height, more private piece of outside wood. They both next to the heat source as well. After I put in the new wood piece, he chose it over the other one and is still preferring it today. I will bury the dome wood piece some time and see how that goes.

| I got that same fake log in my tank =o)
ITs right outside the burrow.Sometimes the babies will run under it and play hide and seek with mom haha....
Lowering the hides is a good sugjestion I have that log almost entirely under substrate so that there is only one entry point
Anyway hope all gose well with the babies

| Yah I buried them after i read that. I dug the sides and buried so that the roof is maybe a finger gap from the soil. And noticed a few are using it now. Alot still stick around the heated wall, I think what im gonna do there is make like a bridge and cover it with soil right across it. So far there doing good, a few have eatin a crushed cricket. Little hard to keep track of who eats and who doesnt. One ripped the leg off and scurried away while one other chased him. It was amusing | |

| Welp ever since I lowered the two logs they have divide up and are now living under them. A couple have burrowed by the UTH. I figure they are all happy in their little habitat seing as they are all burrowed and settled in. Now I just gotta keep myself from liftin a log to make sure their all there lol! I tried a couple small live crickets (without crushin the heads or disabling) Man that was the funniest thing, theyd stalk up on one get real close then the cricket would flinch and the scorpling would scurry off all scared lol They know what to do, just not quite how to do it Fun times!! | |
