hi guys,just got my new tarantula,the Haplopelma robustum.
Haplopelma robustum S7303637
she is shy.

and yea,im looking for opinions from u guys here on her ventral shot.
is that a male or a female?

absolutely beautiful, this is one of the earth tiger species we haven't got yet... no doubt that will be resolved some time this year.

I would also hazard a guess at a female but a exuvium picture would confirm.

I would say she is in premolt. and dont stress too much about not eating. so long as you have the conditions right they can occasionally go off their food. Just make sure she has access to water at all times
Our Haplopelma lividum stopped eating for about 3 months, then for no reason come out of fasting and decided to eat again!

Dont ya just love this hobby.... AArrgggh!

i wonder what happened if there is no web appear in a tiger tarantula enclosure.
