great. Smile

if your Urophonius granulatus is gravid, I think you'll be one of the first to have captive borns in britain.

and they are hungry
new scorps = me very happy DSC03726
observation- the castroi seem to prefer some warmth as they stayed at the warmer ends of their accommodation
and the negrei likes to burrow, within 5 mins it was burrowing about like a mole Smile

ok me very jealous!

The u.granulatus is pretty easy to keep. room temp is fine

sand / forest bed mix, a couple of inches will do.

wants to be slightly damp. best way i can describe it is when you squeeze the substrate you should feel the dampness, if it starts feeling wetter, dont mist as much until it dries out a bit
I had a milk bottle cap with stones and water in but it mainly drank from the water droplets.
slate / cork bark for a small hide.
they do burrow a little but tend to stay under hides
mist once or twice a week
pretty easy to keep really Smile

My female was gravid, thats her in my avatar but i'm presuming she was old and died before giving birth, gutted

anyway good luck and post what you can on the forum, this is still a species with very little known about it so all information is needed

as for the other species, try and find out from Lee the exact area where they were found to ascertain temperatures / substrate / humidity.

this is the U granulatus
new scorps = me very happy DSC03736
the negrei
new scorps = me very happy DSC03737
the granulatus is 2ish centimeters and the negrei is about 5
the granulatus are room temp with slightly damp cocofibre and the negrei is on dry with a hint of moisture, i.e. not bone dry, slightly higher temp and deeper substrate.
