| I live in a house with no heating, and no insulation. It's COLD. It's constantly around or below freezing, sometimes getting to below 0. I read that lamps are bad for them, because of the UV light, and visible light ruining their sleeping patterns or something like that. Heating pad barely works. Would an Infrared Lamp work? | |

| Infrared or Ceramic bulbs would be best. | |

| soon we have to move all our inverts into the back bedroom. there is no heating in there and its COLD so we are going to get a portable heater and run that for a few hours each night to boost the heat in the room. all inverts, have heat pads. Im sure this will surfice for them. Why dont you get a cheap portable heater and use that to help warm the room they are in *if they are in a room and not dotted all over the house like ours used to be* | |

| If it's that cold, I'd suggest:
Ceramic / IR lamp over tanks Blanket wrapped around tanks for insulation Space heater in the room
--OR--
Just keep P. boreus. | |

| Thank you. I think I'll go with the IR lamp. | |
