Hissing cockroaches!

No... please lord no.. NO!!!


anyway, cockroaches sure do crap a lot lol. the pair are pretty active, climbing around the lid as we type... they make as much racket as my Emps used to when they were in a KK.

Should probably think about adding some vaseline around the top inch of the tank, or some fine mesh screening under the lid. Babies have NO challenge going through a KK lid.

I've heard that, I will try and find some vasaline.

went up to feed them, lifted up the rock hide to check on them, the mother and surrounding area was matted with little roaches... I thought they were woodlice at first and I was like "wtf? ... they look very similar. anyway I've got them all seperated into another container... some are still very soft. I'll offer them some food in a few days time.

I do think a few have escaped... no more than 5 I think...

scorpions seem to enjoy lovely, soft, recently birthed highly-nutritious cockroach.

Have you added the vaseline yet? 'Cause the rest WILL escape if you don't.

I'm still unsure what Gromphadorina species this is... I don't know if it's just a portentosa morph or what.

Either he's massive, or your hands are tiny.
