What species of hissing scorpion is this?

Hi, I'm fairly knew to scorpions and recently bought 2 sold as hissing scorpions but after looking online it seems there are many different species of hissing scorpion so could someone please tell me which species I have? Also I've noticed they differ in colour, one is a lot lighter than the other, does this mean I have a male and female? thanks in advance!

Both these scorpions are still juvenile so it is very difficult to identify them to species level. You will need to wait until they are adult.

Also, can you provide some more pictures? The scorpion at the bottom of the picture looks different to the other. They may well be different species, but it may just be the lighting.

They do look different to be honest I wasnt sure if this was because one is a male and the other a female though, or because they are a different species. One is thinner and almost black in colour where the other is a lot bulkier and a light brown colour. I'll upload more pics soon. Thanks again.

Here's a few more pics, sorry if there no better. The
     'thinner' one seems to have put on abit of weight and they do
     look more similar now except for the difference in colour and
     the lighter one still being slightly larger. The last pic is
     of my only other scorpion which I'm almost certain is a

Does one of the juveniles have a white telson and the other a dark one?

The scorpion above is Hadogenes paucidens by the looks of it. Make sure you've got some closely stacked rocks for it to hide in. This is a rock dwelling species that spends 99% of its time sitting in narrow cracks (lol). They will rarely venture on to the ground or in an enclosure, on to the substrate.
