| guys,anyone here know how to preseve dead scorpion? photos and info's will be appreciated.. coz i had a dead het few days ago.. | |

| I hope you froze it soon . . . There's a few methods. LadyRiotControl advocates the "hairspray" method, and she's gone into detail on it, possibly in this forum. Found it! It's in the guides and tutorials section. linkI pose and then soak my specimens in acetone for several days to several weeks, depending on how large and "juicy" they are, then let them air dry for a long time. They smell funny, but it preserves them fairly well. Sometimes if it seems like they don't take up the acetone very well, I'll inject some in through the membrane to speed things up. | |
