Deaths Continue to Rise

I'm disapointed. Over the last two months I've lost 10 scorpions and 2 spiders.
The list goes:
1.1.4 B. Jacksoni
0.0.2 H. laoticus
0.0.1 Hadogenes paucidens
0.1.0 Scorpio maurus palmatus
0.1.0 Hogna Carolinesis
0.0.1 C. fasciatum

The next show, I'm buying 15 inverts, that's no lie.

If I were getting that many deaths in that short a time-frame, I'd seriously evaluate how things were being kept.

Sorry to hear that. I have lost about 30 scorpions, 2 snakes and several thousand crickets. Mine were all climate related. I had a heater go out twice. Any idea of what caused your causalties?

MOST of the scorpion and spider deaths were caused by old age, including the S. maurus, but the cause of the juvenile B. jacksoni deaths are unknown. I think it may have been mold that killed the juvenile B. jacksoni. The H. paucidens was already dying when I got it. H. carolinesis was also dying of old age and the C. fasciatum had a bad molt.

Today, my V. spinigerus died. She was old, so I'm assuming that she died naturaly.

spam is puke enducing but so is most of your scottish "delecacys" (exept angus burgers)

tripe is good.

especially when raw, has a very distinct taste and aroma.

like horsecrap mixed with tortoise puke...

and a hint of cheesefruit.

try some of calum's special potted head, blended with tripe, cheesefruit, and spam, served cold in a jello-like state.
