Hadrurus arizonensis cave-in Empty
PostSubject: Hadrurus arizonensis cave-in   Hadrurus arizonensis cave-in Empty11/2/2008, 4:33 pm

This morning I woke up to find that the entire burrow of my H. Arizonensis's burrow collapsed from what I can see from the side of the glass. Would it be a good idea to dig her out to check if shes all right? Idk if shes molted yet or not so i'm afraid if I dig her out I may hurt her or that the collapse killed her...Advice would be nice, Thanks.

It'll be fine as is; don't worry about it.

I've had LQs get burried under a pound or more of sand.

Nvm shes been excavating all day. Her burrow now lines from one side of the tank to the other. The cool thing is I can see everything inside the burrow.

Are you sure it was collapsed. My arizonensis buries herself in all the time. I think it is a way to regulate the humidity. She will dig herself out when she is ready.
