ok so i picked up these two lil ones today

this is mia the lil girl with one ear





and this is Benji could only get one pic of him unfortunately


oh and mia has already bitten me, she sat in my palm and get scraping me with her teeth

no lol they are sugar gliders Petaurus breviceps
they are similar to flying squirels in the respect they both have the flap of skin enabeling them to glide.

Aww they're adorable. Mine have bitten me twice. Once while trying to cut nails and once when I opened the pouch during the day. Congrats, aren't they like the best vertebrate pet out there?

yeah they are pretty much lol
just a rather complex diet haha, and the bites im getting arent agressive shes just scraping her teeth like she would on trees, she basically thinks there might be food under my bark lmao

and yeah mike the pic was taken as i was putting food bowls in haha

i heard they smell alot.. not so sound like iam bad talking your pets, i whould like them myself.. but iam just curious about the rumors i have heard about them..

they dont really smell that much at all, aslong as you give them the correct diet and clean them properly.

Alot of gliders smell cuz they have been fed far too much of one food, usually people giving them treats all the time.

Mine dont smell at all, well the male has a slight odour but its not an offensive smell at all.
To put it simply they dont smell as badly as rats, and rats dont smell too bad lol

I use to own a suger glider I would say they don't smell. I heard if you feed them citrus it makes their pee smell really bad. My old girl use to love pine nuts, crickets, and my ear lobe
