he was being kind for a few minites! he let a hungry locust have a leg of his half eaten cricket! he then killed the locust for stealing his food... Rolling Eyes

.....erm. the pics ive ever seen, the teeth have all been the normal "yellow"...
with your pics im sure those with a "Desert" hairy will let you know if its ok or not.
To me it makes me think EEEEK. just make sure it all stays NICE and dry, maybe if you can bump the temps up just to be sure and to freeze anything...if it is a oh no kinda thing...

temps are good and high and it is bone dry exept for about 1/2 a cm at the bottom.
when i bought her the idiots at the pet bad shop had her on vermiculite! i dont understand!! they can put an emp on sand so why not a desert hairy.... twits... im thinking it might just be the vermiculite on her pectines and i think, not getting my hopes up though, that she is gravid as she is quite fat and WC.

I would hesitate a guess at female based on the size and angle . . . I saw somewhere direct comparison between male and female, but I can't recall where.

Ok, found it:

link

With these guys it's the opposite of most -- a gap for males and no gap for females. Looking at the link I'd say you have . . . um, I can't really say. Yours looks like it's missing the actual teeth for some reason (scratch), and I'm not sure if they would almost touch or leave a gap if they were still there.

Still GUESSING female. Emphasis on "guessing."
