| Change the substrate to a mixture of coco/peat and sand. Add some flat pieces of rock/slate what ever and some thick branches. Also, they love dead leaves. | |

| My tank is 50/50 sand peat with stacked rocks and moss in some of the cracks. I based my tank off of where I found them in the wild. The jaw I found when I was hunting them. Thought it looked cool and they like to hang out on it during the night. | |

| Throw in a few pieces of bark that are vertical -- I hear they like to climb on 'em and hang out there (my lone female does in her deli, anyway). Definitely more hides would help out.
Maybe add some fake plastic plants to green it up a bit? Or perhaps one of those little bromeliads that's hot-glued onto a rock? | |

| Oh yeah I forgot to mention the vertical climbing thing. The back of my tank is all rocks which they can climb behind. I based mine off where we caught them in the wild. | |

| Well a little wouldnt be so bad. I usally mix it in when it's "cold" rather than damp to the touch. | |

| Wow I just got 6 of these from Krazy 8's and they were in moist cocofiber with a fake plant at the show I went too. I didn't think it was that humid in TX. | |

| Krazy 8's specialized in T's more than Scorps. But I dont' think a little moisture will hurt them | |

| The area I WC them was pretty dry but it looked like during rain it was a flood plain. My substrate isn't dry but it's not like wt either. I just use a large water bowl and they seem to be doing fine. They mate in my enclosure so I think that's a good sign. Of course, they also mated in the cooler I set them in while I decorated the tank. | |

| IIRC, this species is quite hardy and tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Different humidity levels shouldn't be a problem as long as it's nothing extreme. | |
