what scorpion should I get?

P. cavimanus being my number one pick(for now) for my next scorpion, anybody have any other suggestions for a second scorpion to add to my collection?

What kind of scorpion interest you? Tropical, dessert, bark, ect?

well i got an Emperor in a false bottom setup so i wouldn't mind having another tropical cause i got the high humidity figured out...also its -30 outside right now and keeping my room at high temperatures(I have a hard time keeping my snakes enclosure the right temperature in the winter and she has a 100W sun bulb) is hard so desert is out of the question...bark scorpions would be a neat little challenge thought.

I recomend a b. jacksonni if you wanna try your luck with bark scorpions.
If you want tropical I recomen Heterometrus longimanus or Heterometrus spinifer.
B.jacksonni should be kept in similar humidity.

i was just looking at the longimanus\spinifer and they look great
pardon my ignorance as i just started reading on these guys...would they fair well in the same environment as a Emperor?(my guess is yes?)

You guessed right. I've actually kept a combination of 1.1.0 H. spinifers and 1.1.1 P. imperator in the same tank. They did very well together...BUT...some people have claimed trying this and have gotten injured scorpions. If you do this keep a close eye the first few says as thats when they innitially start fighting.

Try any of the dealer that were posted before. I'm not sure where they ship exactly. I'll try to find one for you by tommorow. PM right now.

B. jacksoni actually require it a little on the drier side. Not super-dry, but not nearly as humid as forest scorpions.

then i read around on other people's threads of how they keep their B. jax, and been keep them semi- moist

I think I kept mine a little too moist -- one of my females developed mycosis. But I didn't think I kept that moist . . .
