| there are little white things one my t any one know if they are mites i would take a oic but i dont thing they would how up on my camera and and the only sat in one spot some on the rump and some just above the eyes | |

| doesnt sound good! Wait for a T expert or someone who has come across this before, before you totally freak out. But if it was a scorpion I would be saying "not good, still mites that dont move are bad!" But wait and see...Tarantulas...MIGHT be different *fingers crossed* xxxxxxxx | |

| I never had this problem with mights being on the taratula. So i would not be the one to ask this.
the only mite problem i only encounter is in the substrate, all i have done with that is to just change out the substrate. | |

| Immobile is bad -- but are you sure they're mites? I've heard that even the good mites can get into a T's booklungs . . . | |

| try to take a pic. Change the substrate. Also try to describe if you can what they look like...can you see legs? if so...how many? what sort of body shape etc... xxx | |

| ive been looking online. Is your substrate too moist? That will help mites to breed *this does seem to be talking about walking about ones* this has a mention on mites, ON a tarantula and being removed physically. | Pull the T out, put it in a plastic container with no substrat in a dark place, the mites might be good mites from the soil that cleans dead feeders and stuff.. | |
