| Well Northern california is farm land and fear of lost crops is what I heard. Hedgehogs are illegal to but I managed to get one for my ex . Although this was before I knew they were illegal nothing much I can do now. | |

| i think it has something to do with the fact that ferrets are endangered in the wild i know her in Canada in the parries theres a black foot ferret conservation site(due to there low numbers) that is trying to keep there natural food supply alive(ground hogs) and about 5 meters from this conservation site is farm land that trys to eliminate ground hogs.
but yeah back to the ferret kitts there the cutest things in the world we have two one is about 2 years and one was born in December, there the cutest most mischievous creatures ive ever had. | |

| They been Illegal for more years then Arnies been governor, they have been illegal for more then 30 years in Cali. Years ago we had an Albino female and a black-footed male (there on the endangered list here also). I also picked up a pair for my mother a couple years back. Real fun lil critters Minus the smell  | |
