| Is this a "what do you prefer" vs. or "who would win in a deathmatch" vs.?
The first, it used to always be scorps, but Ts are really growing on me.
The second, if a tarantula gets even a minor wound, it's screwed.

| i prefer scorps but i still stand by it would depend on species ill do a more extreme example, Euscorpius flavicaudis is a tiny species vs Theraphosa blondi i have to say Theraphosa blondi would win becuase of the pure power, it may die after, or have legs disabled but i think the T could kill it fairly easily | |

Eddy, you know me too well, YES i do preferr T's over scorpions and any other invert at that plus over any reptile and so on, lol Scorpions are cool as hell and wish i had more scorpion species, especially more Centruroides sp. But T's are far most a bigger part of my heart of interests, to me they have a more of a personality here is my 2 cents on fighting T's with scorpions: I think it is just wrong, like dog fighting thanks mark (redknee)

| I'll be the traitor. I definitely think a Tarantula could inflict enough mechanical damage to incapacitate the Scorpion before the venom took effect. And tarantulas do have more personality. | |

You've obviously never seen a T. blondi stomp across a cage and then hiss at you.

T's are more fragile compared to a scorpions, especially when is omes to shipping them cuz they don't have the hard extoskeleton like scorpions BUT, i still have to go with T's by far

And their cat like walkign doesn't help. that is one of thier great features of how they strut their stuff, like the Chaco's, when they walk , they are like they are one bad

You've obviously never seen a T. blondi stomp across a cage and then hiss at you. I have, I was impressed, and I picked it up. You can ask Robert. Right now My t's outnumber my scorps 6 to 1 so I'm officially a T man for a few months. I gotta admit they're starting to grow on me but they are really fragile. And they're defenses are kinda lame(IMO). I have an unknown T from mexico that loves to kick hair at me, it doesn't even faze me. My H. gigas just hides in it's burrow (and only eats if the food goes down there), A.seemanni never comes out of it's hide and hasn't ate for months, Don't get me started on G. roseas. I love the colors on the tiger rump but again it just hides in it's burrow.
