| I'm trying to determine if my Haddy is gravid I THINK I see some yellow dots in there, but not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me. I've had her since March and she's usually in her burrow, today, though, she came out and arched her back under the heat lamp. I would have thought she was stilting, were it not for the fact that the other side of the tank is kept cooler and without heat lamp and she can move there if she gets too hot. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the habit for a gravid female to follow the heat around the tank in order to help the embryos develop? If she is, indeed, gravid, should there be any changes in the way I keep her? She's also, as the last pics show, taken to resting between the drift wood piece and the side of the tank under the heat. Also, before someone gets nervous, some pics make the scrape she has constructed her fave burrow under look too wet, it is not like this all the time. I do overflow it a tiny bit once a month, as I did today and it was done AFTER I found her out under the lamp, and mist lightly once a week or so, but am well aware the dangers of a desert scorp sitting in moisture, so, no worries I will visit ASA to look up some care sheets and prowl the sites for further info, but any and all comments and advice from y'all is accepted and greatly appreciated. If we can't determine now, then all I have to do is wait. She either is, or she isn't, and I'll know sooner or later I imagine, probably by surprise one morning Pics below Thanx much, Kelly and Sunny | |

| Just looks fat to me, but I could be wrong. Hadrurus tend to eat like pigs. | |
