| Is it safe to assume that scorpions are very horny animals? (please edit word if not allowed lol) I've watched some of my adult pairs go at it for hours and even a couple of days. I just can't believe that these are the inactive inverts that lurk in the burrows | |

| Haha, do scorpions even know what being horny is ? It'd certainly put us to shame if they were 'at it' for the pleasure for hours on end but, it's probably for a much more boring reason like the male searching for a suitable site to place his spermatophore, or the female assessing if the male is strong, fit and healthy enough to be worthy to pass his genes on to the next generation. These are just guesses by the way. There's probably some papers written on why scorpions often promenade a deux for such a long time. Google time | |

| I know! It pretty much incited my interest in their high-level form of activity. Almost mammal-like in being relentless to think that females are bigger than males | |
