P. trans - breeding question

Hey guys! I'm new on SF and new to the practice of scorpion keeping. So a friend and I were given a scorpion as a gift. We have each a 2nd instar P. transvaalicus and said friend said he got them from one seller and they were the only slings in stock, so most probably they're from the same brood.

My question is, in the high hopes of both scorps being of different genders, would it be alright if they mate? Or will it not be advisable as they may be siblings and incestuous matings bring about any form of deformity or stuff as they do in other animals like dogs?\

Lots of inbreeding occurs in captive scorpions. Whilst I've never heard of any definitive studies into the effects this has caused in captive populations there are pretty much no strange deformities etc. occurring in scorpions that have been attributed to inbreeding, as far as I know anyway. So to answer your question, yes it will be OK to breed your two scorpions should they turn out to be a male/female pair.
