| i put about 4-5 inchs in but cause its settled its gone lower to like 2I-3I and some parts still 4I my scorpion has made a burrow a few days ago but i want to put alot more substrate in as i have the space what would happen if i wrecked the burrow and added more in soon as i put him back would he go to burrow again? il put every thing in there back where it was and il make a little hole around where the borrow was to help it, or should i leave it as he seems happy he does stay in his burrow all day and night with his claws out at night and is eating that i know of. | |

| If i were you don't change the burrow. It might stress him out. Just change it when you need to clean the terrarium ;D

| Yeah -.- its really annoying if you don't see them eating their prey coz they might be really thin before their next molt. I'm a bit worried about my emperor scorp coz its been in the burrow for 2 weeks now and doesn't come out even at night. I do hope its molting. | |

| Yeah mines same of a night before i sleep i see him with his claws just out the burrow what is he doing? as he has been fed 2 crickets in 2 days but he doesn't go any further than that but think when were asleep they might come out? as they are nocturnal, i haven't seen mine get any water yet but think mine seems to like to eat of a day as well as night is this normal? Like now hes probs sittin at the entrance to the burrow this is day time. | |
