got 2 empty terrariums, what should i do with them?

Hey!
I have 2 empty terrariums, one 30x30x30cm and one 45x45x45, both exo terra.
i had 2 scorpions but both are dead (due to age), and now i want some new. What scorpions do you recommend?

I like desert/savannah, it do not matter if it's extremely potent. if you guys could suggest both a communal awesome spiecies and a spiecies that needs to be alone it would be great!
What would you do?

Many people write up asking for advice on what scorpions they should get but they don't seem to consider that what they want and what is available are usually 2 different things.
So instead of asking others for advice on what you want try looking around and find out whats available to you. Once you have that list, decide what from that list you want, research their needs and if you can accomodate them, go for it....
As for caresheets, well, once you've decided what you want/can get, then all you have to do is type that latin name into google and more often than not you'll find information you can use. If not, then that is the time to come on the forum and ask for care tips.

C vittatus make good communities. And they are on the cheaper side too! I myself am thinking of making a colony. And plus they are from the desert. For one to keep alone, Id say that youre going to figure that one out yourself. Half the fun is picking what to get. Do you want something colorful, something dark, something slim, something bulky. Just find what fits your taste. You can explore different genera and find your species pretty easily on wikipedia. Just make sure the picture is accurate or its not a morph. Surprises arent always such a good thing especially with scorps.

Centruroides sculpturatus are a good desert communal species, but they are fast and quite potent/venomous. Not a lot of communal species that are always available. Uroctonus mordax are communal and can be kept somewhat similar to Emperor scorpions. Checkout the FS/Trade thread to see what is available. Good luck and welcome back to the hobby.
