Hi, I'm looking into starting a blaptica dubia colony. But I really don't want a 55g tank full of roaches. Is it possible to have a small (5g bucket maybe) for a colony, and if so, how do you control breading so they don't multiply exponentially?

I'm using a large $6.00 tote and it works great! Strategically placed holes drilled into the tote.
