I'll spare the details of the sting and aftermath for when I figure out what it is...not terrible but worth talking about.
I don't know anything about scorpions and stumbled across this site...so past pics and basic info cannot help much.
My gut says it was a mild-moderately poisonous species.
If it was really bad then it may have been very young or did not inject a lot.
It sure was an unpleasant experience, amplified by having it happen on the other side of the world.
Location: Pemuteran, Bali, Indonesia (near the west side on the north coast)
Size: body is about 2-3 cm. As shown in the first pic I would say close to 4cm overall.
