breeding rock slate

what do i use for the scorpions to have s3x on ???

i have flat rocks but they are thick and if the scorpion goes under they will get stuck

i was thinking a tile from home depo and putting the smooth side down to the dirt. ???? will this work ??

im setting up a 10 gallon tank for a male and female....

so far i have one mature male, not sure about the sex of the second mature scorpion

but molts are coming up and i know they will be mature next molt so im gettin the tank ready.

i was just going to have a water dish and the tile as a mating slate and i dont think im going to put a hide in there cuase there wont be enough room, they can just burrow in the dirt.

suggestions please will help......

I bought a piece of black shale from Petco for my emps to mate on. You could try that. Although, I'm worried it might be too smooth for them to get dirty on. I'm not really sure. It's something I was going to post about sometime.

a peice of tile is smooth but the bottom of it is rough so if i put the smooth side to the dirt it should be fine i think

Either side of the tile should be fine.
