Cool scorp! I'm not good at ID'ing these guys but I can tell you he (or she) is young because he has a white stinger. I'm sure some of the others here can ID him.

Welcome to the forum.

Well, it's a juvenile individual, which means it's going to be more difficult to get a positive ID.

Any idea on it's gender, instar, or where it originated?

So far I'm thinking either H. longimanus or H. spinifer, with me leaning towards H. longimanus from the pedipalps, but then again, it could just be the angle of the pics and/or the age of the scorp.

Anyway, if possible, try to get pics of the carapace and pedipalps.

I agree it’s difficult enough to idea heterometrus sp. as it already and this one is exceptionally harder due it being a juvenile specimen. I have to agree with scorpion19981000, The pendilaps seem elongated so my best guess H. longimanus

4th instar sounds about right.

Lighter coloration is normal in younger individuals, nothing to worry about.
