The 8x8x8 exo-terra is too small for an adult. For my Haddy, I used the 12x12x12 exo-terra and it's work out pretty well. However, I'm going to use a 10 gallon for my next Haddy enclosure. They're less expensive and without the doors I'll be able to have much more substrate (but I'll weigh a ton).

Here's a couple threads on what I did with my enclosure:

There's other good Hadrurus arizonensis threads that you can find using the search button.

Ive got mine in a 5 gal with 5 or so inches of sand. I've also got a 2.5 with around 6 inches of 1:4 mix of sand and excavator clay drying which I was going to use for him. Since depth of substrate is more important to these guys then square footage ground space.

I heat his enclosure from about with a 50 W IR bulb all day and night to keep it 27-32 degrees C

The 12x12x12 minimum I would say. The H. Arizonsis is a larger medium size scorp so it would give him plenty of room to move around. I had my S. Maurus in a 8x8x12 exo and felt it was a little small so I made my own 10x11x11 acrylic tank with a top hinged lid so I could have depth for sand for him to burrow.
