READ!! EMPEROR SCORPION BURROW QUESTION !

[b] i have 5 emperor scorpions and they used to come out at night but ever since they've dug new underground tunnels they havent been coming out ! im worried that they are going to get trapped and go without food and water too long, should i dig them out or leave them alone ??????????

Leave them alone. A happy emp is one that stays in it's burrow all day. Your scorps probably come out late at night. Don't worry about them not eating, they can go months without food.

okay , ill watch for them tonight to see if they come out, they didnt come out last night i was up all night watching for them.

They probably won't come out every night. (Mine sure doesn't.) It actually makes it rather exciting when they do come out though.
But yeah, don't worry about them getting trapped.

yeah but there is no exit or entrance to the burrow, all 5 are piled in the same burrow with no exit or entrance how they gonna get out i should really rescue them but they will probably be upset if i mess up there tunnels after all the hard work they put in to it ....

So they blocked off the entrance? Or did it collapse?
I guess you could open up the entrance to the burrow, just don't dig them up completely.

this is what i did .... ever since i got the scorpions i had the caves on flat soil, and the scorpions were hiding under the peat moss during the day , and every single night around 8:30-9:00 they would come out and wonder around for a few hours and go back into hiding around 1 or 2 AM.... then i decided to make the cage set up look cool so i kind of burried the caves so everything would be underground, after a day or two i noticed they dug underground tunnels and they didnt come out for about 5 days straight so i got worried,,, so what i just did 10 minutes ago was i unburried the caves and put them on flat soil again... i didnt destroy the tunnels, and i opened an exit to the tunnels... hopefully now they will come out,... becuase i liked watching them every night when they used to come out and i want them to eat the crickets that are in there....

Sounds good. The others will probably come out within the next few days. It sounds like they accidentally blocked themselves in.
