Subject: Why are they putting crickets in their water?! 9/11/2011, 3:13 am
For the past week and a half, my two scorpions have been putting crickets in their water bowl. I would give one of then a cricket by hand and they would munch on it for a bit and put it in the water bowl. I'd take it out and give to the same one and they would then finish it. Both of then have been doing this. What's the deal?

It's pretty common for certain tarantulas to dispose of uneaten food in their water dish. I've never seen emps do that though, they usually just drop it when they are done.

Yeah, it's weird. Do the crickets not taste good or something? My gf said that she had a cat once that would do that to piss her off.

hahaha you should get a clip of your emps doing that.id say you have some ocd emps.my emps used to throw their leftovers outside there burrow for me to pick up.now they just eat it all.
