| I have had a tank with sand drying for about three days now. It seems dry, but if I dig it sorta still sticks together in my hand. How can I be sure it's dry enough? | |

| what kind of scorp are you putting in?
I assume a desert species........but .........
and if you put it under a heat lamp for a day that really dries it out real good

| I've had it under a heat lamp for about two and a half days now. I don't want to make the mistake of putting them in when it's too wet though.

| normaly takes about a week to dry out fully, we used a hairdryer and a heat lamp on constantly as well | |

| Well, if you've got a heat mat lying around, you can pop that under the tank, and keep the lamp over it.
