Just got a cool looking T sling from my bud.

a Avicularia urticans , Peru Purple Pink Toe.

Saw an adult at the shop started playing with it and had to get it, prob gonna be the new addiction along with scorps.

My camera has been pretty crappy lately so hopefully will post some pic's soon.

gz! Smile

I find them the more harder to keep species, if compared to scorps...

Avics are a pain in the arse. They either drop dead or, worse, the bloody things run up your arm every time you try feed or water them.

I'm still new to T's so I don't know to much about them.

Why are Avicularia's such a pain in the butt to keep/care for ?

Just one of them things.
They need a decent amount of humidity but at the same time they need constant fresh air and air movement. As soon as you get some stale air in there the spider will drop dead.
It's the second biggest killer of all Avics.
