newb help asap

i have my emp tank set up last week or so.im picking him up in the morning,but there is condinsation/mist building up on the glass.is this too much water on the substrate??not enough ventilation or what is the cause?i want to get it sorted before the morning.thanks

nahh that condensation on the glasss means the humidity is alright....
lol you're lucky you can get that without having to do a false bottom...
my tank never did that till i put the false bottom in it

That seems to be too much humidity and not enough ventilation. You do not need the tank to be that wet at all. My scorpions have been doing fine without any condensation. You don't need a cover for the top either, all it does is restrict airflow for no purpose whatsoever and may even give way to mold growth. That level of humidity may do an asian forest scorpion well, but is not required for emps.

when this happens to my tank i just tilt the lid a little so there is a crack. make sure you air the tank every once in a while
