| I didnt know my pandinus cavimanus' heat pad wasnt switched on and in the coldest room in the house and deep into winter...needless to say it brought on her death, a hot humid box didnt help save her when I discovered the mistake | |

| Found a B. jacksoni cannibalizing another tank mate, then a few-weeks later I had misjudged one as an adult, she molted in the communal tank, and died mysteriously.

| Not so much a disaster, but getting a handful of B. jacksoni to try setting up a breeding colony, only having two out of five make it to adulthood, and then having the male die two weeks after the female matured . . . That, or getting three C. margaritatus "bicolor" morph for the same purpose, only to have all die well before maturity.  | |

| When it started to get really cold here I lost all my WC (which I caught) C vittatus but one male. I don't talk about such events. Or finding both of my B jacks dead a week ago... | |
