Possible DS in Pandinus Imperator scorpling

Subject: Possible DS in Pandinus Imperator scorpling 12/24/2008, 9:43 am

So last night was showing my collection to the neighbours and discovered a 4I pandinus imperator baby....with his/her legs curled under...claws tightly shut but still alive!
I moved it out to the open so I could keep an eye and its not moved...is this...this syndrome called DS?

I know I cant do anything for the little one but its so sad

DS is too much of a general term, but it is normally shaking and writhing around that is called DS.
it sounds like what tarantulas do when dehydrated... isolate it and give it lots of humidity...
of course i have no idea what im on about so wait for an expert to tell you. good luck with the poor lil guy Sad

think he is gone. last night he was UPSIDE DOWN! but still huddled up. I have no idea whats happened.
but when I looked last night the tail looked flat out...i will check in a little bit to find out if its alive

yeah he is 100% dead now...I know this since NOW legs uncurled...but...his tail is missing...

me too! was gross. it was all clamped up. Claws shut and legs curled under...only in death was it relaxed. poor little one
