| We found this scorpion while working on a set in Santa Clarita CA. From what I can gather, it looks like a stripedtail scorpion, but I'm not 100% sure and I'd like to get some confirmation. Any help would be appreciated. If another angle would help in the identification, let me know and I'll get it. Thanks. | |

| Hard to say from the picture quality but it looks vaejovid to me. Awesome if you want keep it as a pet they’re fairly low in toxicity and fun to watch. V. spinegarus is likely (striped tail) considering your location. | |

Yeah, I'd guess V. spinigerus as well (or Hoffmannius spinigerus, depending on which name you go with). | |
