| Hello folks, im now in a position to get myself a pair of desert scorpions, as i live in the UK i am restricted to which scorpions i can keep, so i am asking you folks which would be the best ones to get in the UK, im looking to get at least 2 for the same tank, so they need to be ok together. | |

| Hello John,
I myself do not keep scorpions communal so I can't answer you on that.
However, I can recommend the following species:
- smeringurus mesaensis (dune scorpion) (can burrow but tends to make shallow burrows in stead of the spiral like constructions of Hadrurus Arizonensis)
- hadrurus arizonensis (giant desert hairy scorpion) (heavy burrower)
I have seen both of these species readily available in the UK and I believe they would make excellent choices.
Take care,
Joey

| Niether of those species are communal, especially Hadrurus arizonensis. Try looking into desert-ish Centruroides sp. | |

| I wouldn't keep Hadrurus sp. or Smeringurus sp. communally. I really can't think of any communal desert species that are available in the UK. | |

Maybe. Probably a Bothriurus sp. or possibly a Brachistosternus sp. Edit: I looked up the common name and Brachistosternus scioscia seems to be it.

Maybe. Probably a Bothriurus sp. or possibly a Brachistosternus sp. Scorpiongirl lost one of her B. dumayi due to cannibalism a couple months ago. I wouldn't try it.
