Time to say goodbye...

Released my Hardrurus arizonensis back into its home tonight. He was an amazing scorpion and one of the hardiest pets I know! Goodbye buddy and enjoy a space larger than 5 gallons

I miss him already but im sure he loves the wild better plus he has to go mate!

I will see him again he lives atop a mountain by my house ill have to visit once and a while

Thank you these guys are important to controlling the bug population. Plus just like any other animal it must be treated with respect.

I've done the same thing a few times when I lived in AZ. Its too bad there so difficult to breed in captivity.

Excellent initiative and top notch respect for your animals. Really good to hear. We hear often of people collecting from the wild but someone releasing back to the wild by comparison is a rarity...
I'd love to be able to do the same thing as i'm sure many European keepers would...trouble is the winter period over here will kill of all but the hardiest of creatures and even those native animals that are acclimatised have a hard time of it.
It would be great though to be able to release half or 2 thirds of a brood once they had passed 3rd or 4th instar, or release the parents once they had produced a brood.

Thanks guys! Den is there any scorpions that live in the wild in Europe? I can imagine with your guys intense cold that they wouldnt. Im glad my post made your day a little better good to hear.
