Facebook group??

There's a number of forums that also have a facebook group.

They provide an extra platform to chat about scorpions, show off your pictures, meet other enthusiasts, advertise stuff for sale and talk about off-topic/ non scorpion related things.

The chatbox is rarely used here, but it seems the whole world uses the faceache now, and it would be great tool for extra scorpion 'banter'

It may also raise the profile of the forum and get more new members joining in, which can only be a good thing.

What do people think? Should we have one? Mods, can we have one?

Actually we do have a dead group on Facebook. I was actually talking to the smartest teenager we have on this forum to admin it a few weeks ago (do I really need to name names . ) I got a few plans for the forum that include reviving the Facebook page and getting us some domain space, and allowing for optional color schemes. I'm just really busy and haven't gotten around to it. If anyone wants to admin the fb group let me know pm or email.

I was also thinking about creating a page on Google+ for the forum as well...

I'm all for google plus too.

Oh scorp1998 how do you be so smart? I hate FB but getting the word out on how cool scorps are seems like a good idea to me.

Perhaps a major googe forum and a minor facebook page would reach a wider audience?

Or google+, rather, I meant. XD

A facebook group would make it easier to share things than a page notification method is more efficient.
