| Looks to be some type of ant (guessing "trap-jaw") from the bend in the antennae. Seeing how it has wings, I'm guessing it's either a male looking for a mate, or a future queen, looking to start a colony. | |

thanks man! you're the only one who gave a satisfying answer and you're right it is a queen trap-jaw ant. i saw it release eggs then carry it within her jaws | |

| That is defiantly a trap jaw ant. p.s. Trap jaw ant are fast and very aggressive. The ant’s jaws close at 78 to 145 miles per hour, and can open 180 degrees. The nest can have LOTS of workers (about 300), each packed with a painful sting and bite. | |
