| I put moss and fir mix substrate in my emp and spider tank i came hear and fond out that soft wood is ba for bugs so i took it out sier is fine but my emp dosent look ke its enjoying him self and his cage smells ike pine realy bad i tyed cleaning it out with extreamly hot water but made it like 10X sronger i was thinking about rensing it out with vinger or something any one noow somthing i cou wash it out with with out kiing my emp................(THIS IS THE THIRD TIME BUYING THE WRONG StUFF  )

| I don't think the smell is much to worry about. As long as you cleaned it out good and there's no fir mix in there anymore, I think you should be good. The smell should dissipate in time. | |

| the smell will go in time. use a gentle hand soap like carex or the body cream sanex, a small small drop into some water and wash it with that and then rince really well with Hot water to be sure.
Im sure your Pandinus will be fine!

| Just make sure that you take your emp out first, and then rinse well enough to remove all soap residue. | |
